Brita Åsbrink

Brita Åsbrink is a Swedish journalist and author of the book called "Ludvig Nobel: Petroleum Has a Bright Future". As a freelance writer she spent years researching the Nobel family and its past links to the oil fields in Baku by the Caspian Sea. Her interest in this started in the early 1990’s when she worked for the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency, Sida, and later as a reporting delegate of the International Red Cross/Red Crescent in Southern Caucasus. Åsbrink has also produced a Swedish TV documentary called "Red Sun Over the Nobel Oil Fields," commemorating the first century of the Nobel Prize.
